Lower Columbia Center

NWSA's Lower Columbia Center
Located near the waterfront in southeast Portland, Oregon, this site serves communities throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. Projects are located in the urban Portland-Vancouver metro area and stretch across the state in communities from the Oregon Coast to the high desert of Eastern Oregon.
Lower Columbia Center partners with approximately 125 agencies including the City of Portland, Three Rivers Land Conservancy, local public school districts, Environmental Information Cooperative, South Santiam Watershed Council, Oregon Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex, Eastern Oregon University, Oregon Tilth and regional government agencies.
Members are responsible for their own housing and often choose to live near the community where their project is located.
Outdoor and cultural opportunities are plentiful. Portland and neighboring Vancouver are cities known for their friendly people and casual atmosphere. Dozens of urban parks, a world-class transportation system and ongoing cultural attractions thrive in these vibrant cities. Outdoor adventures such as hiking, backpacking, cross country skiing and kayaking are waiting to be experienced.
