Mt. Adams Center
Located in the heart of the Cascade Mountain Range of the Pacific Northwest, the Mt. Adams Center is the Washington-based campus of the Northwest Service Academy. For over 15 years, the Mt. Adams Center has served as a training and operational hub for their highly regarded AmeriCorps Programs.
The Mt. Adams Center places over 60 AmeriCorps members with government agencies or non-profit organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Positions are available with both our Environmental Intern Program and our Field Team Program. The Environmental Intern Program places individuals throughout the Pacific Northwest with the leading public lands agencies and community based non-profits, while the Field Team Program places leaders and members on restoration teams to perform a season of trail maintenance and restoration work. Current positions focus on environmental education, watershed and trail restoration, volunteer outreach and management, community stewardship and much more.
AmeriCorps volunteers receive an AmeriCorps education award in addition to a modest living stipend and health insurance.
